06 degrees and 52 minutes
This month’s Cardinal Full Moon occurs in the sign that represents harmonizing partnerships and the equalizing “scales of balance”—Libra. A Full Moon always occurs when it opposes the path of the Sun on the zodiac ecliptic and this month’s Full Moon is most significant because it will also oppose four other planets—all in the cardinal sign of Aries. Aries is on the beginning of the Astrological zodiac which signifies the changing of the seasons from winter to spring and an initiatory time of change and new beginnings. These planetary oppositions are an opportune time to focus on finding the commonality that brings about union—Libra—versus the discord that creates separateness—Aries.
Therefore, you can use the light of this powerful Full Moon to focus upon and determine where you can be more balanced. If, for example, you feel you are out of balance with either your intimate or professional partnerships and possibly giving more than you are receiving, then you will want to spend time contemplating how you can resolve the imbalance and then take action.
Once you can personally maintain equilibrium in your life, you will find the relationship imbalance resolved. The Libra archetype will often find that it gives far more than it receives so it may be helpful to observe areas of your life where this dynamic is exemplified. When Libra is involved, sometimes the greatest gift we can give another person is to know when not to give, thereby allowing that individual to independently determine their own needs—Aries.
Lastly, because Libra is associated with the kidneys and blood sugar balances this will be a great Full Moon to commit to consuming less sugar and alcohol and finding healthy alternatives that support your wellbeing.
For the skywatchers: that planet you will see next to the Moon for the next couple of days is Saturn!

21 degrees and 24 minutes of Pisces
The New Moon is a time of new beginnings and rebirth. It is an opportune time to set intentions for new life directions or the beginning of new projects. This is the best time of the month to plant positive thoughts in the subconscious mind with affirmations, auspicious chants, and visualizations. Inspiration, hope, and support flourish for those seeking spiritual, emotional, or mental liberation of any kind.
This New Moon is sure to inspire change on a deep level because it occurs in the mystical sign of Pisces and the tenth house of goal setting in the lunation horoscope. Accompanied by five other heavenly bodies all traversing the sign of Pisces – Neptune, Mercury Retrograde, Chiron, Venus, the Sun and Mars – this is guaranteed to be a potent pack! Therefore, expect revelations as hidden areas of your psyche become active during these next few days and weeks.
Pisces is the watery zodiac sign that seeks to dissolve all separating desires in order to unite with divine. It is through the artistic and soulful expression of Piscean energies that we can each experience the true essence of the all-pervading consciousness that exists within everything. Importantly, Pisces is also the last sign of the zodiac and therefore represents culminations.
Under this important New Moon, it is beneficial to take the time out of your busy schedule to ask yourself a few essential questions: 1) What is separating me from the truest expression of my divine self? 2) What might I need to culminate in my life so I can align to my higher nature?
Once you’ve answered these questions, take time to create intentions that will lead you into a closer relationship with your highest goals. Lastly, Pisces is one of two healing signs of the zodiac (Virgo is the other.) Healing is an important consideration when planets are highlighting one or both of these constellations. This New Moon in Pisces can help illuminate any healing work that might need to occur in order for you to connect to your heart’s truest desires. Pisces also represents the dreamtime. Therefore, pay close attention to your dreams and any messages they provide over the upcoming days.

In the Mystical Sign of Pisces
Feb. 24 – March 16
19 degrees – 5 degrees
On February 24, at 4:05 a.m. PT, Mercury – the cosmic trickster entered into his first retrograde cycle of 2013. Known as the Messenger of the Gods – Mercury’s role is to speedily deliver clear and precise information. While Mercury is in retrograde motion many of our daily activities seem to go haywire. During this Mercury cycle he is traveling through the watery realms of mystical Pisces whereby you may find yourself feeling especially disoriented and unable to focus clearly. This perplexing energy will intensify as Mercury continues its retrograde motion and conjoins Mars, the Sun, Chiron, and Neptune—all of which are also in Pisces.
Mercury Retrograde periods encourage you to clean up any lingering loose ends that are in need of your attention. They also signify various technical and electronic glitches with cell phones, computers, and electric devices. It is helpful to remain flexible, and prepare for delays and mix-ups of all kinds. Additionally, this is not a good time to enter into new partnerships and the signing of contractual agreements. It is a time period, however, when we often hear from or feel compelled to reach out to old friends or lovers whom we haven’t spoken to in some time.
As Mercury travels through the final sign of the zodiac—Pisces—it is important to remember that it is associated with the spiritual teaching that our world is maya or illusion which veils us from the truth of who we are—individual aspects of divine. Any belief that we are not divinity incarnate causes the delusion of separation or maya. Pisces is therefore concerned with the need to culminate all types of separating desires so it can return to its original oneness with divine. Simultaneously, on a more mundane level, Mercury retrograde periods provide opportunities to complete and therefore culminate circumstances from your past.
Therefore, surrender and enjoy this Mercury mystifying retrograde cycle as it attempts to prompt you to culminate past related conditions that no longer serve your ability to merge with divine.

Saturn in Scorpio
(Oct. 5, 2012 – Dec. 23, 2014 & June 14 – Sept. 17, 2015)
Astrologically, Saturn is often referred to as “The Lord of Karma” or “The Great Malefic” and sometimes “The Task Master,” all of which can provoke feelings of pessimism and negativity. Rarely are Saturn’s countless hidden gifts emphasized upon first contemplating this great planet’s Astrological significations.
Saturn is the planet that represents structure, social-political systems and authority, as well as the awareness of time and karma. He is the harbinger of the blatant recognition of a long standing way of life that is no longer serving us. With Saturn’s ingress into Scorpio we will find ourselves investing time to restructure the area of our lives reflected by the zodiacal sign of Scorpio. Astrologically, Scorpio represents issues involving power—or lack thereof— death and rebirth; transmutation and regeneration; deep-seated unconscious patterns, compulsions and obsessions; secrets and mysticism; and security and resources. Saturn will bring awareness and a need for dynamic change—individually as well as collectively—to any of these Scorpionic qualities in need of transformation.
Saturn in Scorpio will shine its light into the darkness of corrupt financial sectors and expose their abusive power driven agendas. On a personal level, you will be encouraged to delve into the caverns of your own psyche to access your personal authenticity and power. You will also find inspiration to transform outmoded patterns that sabotage your truest desires. Additionally, the conservation of resources—again, both individually and collectively—will be highlighted during this period. This is especially true for Scorpios because Saturn will transit directly over your Sun. If you are between the ages of 28-30 or 58-60 you are experiencing or about to experience your Saturn return, a major maturation and turning point in life.
Mindful awareness is required at the onset of a significant Saturn transit and we are encouraged to use integrity in all our dealings throughout its duration. The Saturnian journey often leads us into solemn periods of reflection where we may find ourselves feeling dejected, disillusioned and thwarted to move into the future we desire. Simultaneously, Saturn can promote new career heights, responsibilities and leadership recognition. If we consciously embrace Saturn’s wise teachings we can emerge with unexpected treasures and a more dynamic and productive life.
Saturnian transits and aspects bring us to a crossroads and provide opportunities to hasten our evolution. They usher in a profound time period, which if embraced, can ultimately bring great wisdom, a deeper meaning to life and awareness of self, maturation, humility and freedom by releasing that which no longer serves us.

The Saturn Return in Scorpio
The Planetary Time Indicator of Change
(Oct. 06, 2012-Sept. 17, 2015)
The planet Saturn begins its journey through your Astrological horoscope at the moment of your birth. Its complete cycle through the zodiac and the houses of your Astrological chart takes roughly 29 years. The Saturn Return occurs when Saturn passes through the sign it was in at the time of your birth. The Saturn Return is in effect for approximately two-and-a-half years and will occur twice in your life, typically around age 28-30 and again at 58-60. If you were born during 1983 – 1986 or 1953 – 1956 you were born with Saturn in Scorpio and are currently experiencing your first or second Saturn Return.
When Saturn returns to its natal position in your chart you will undergo one of the most intense maturation periods of your life. In general, Saturn Returns are precursors to strong and sometimes painful yearnings for change.During this period of time you will be divinely guided to relinquish anything in your life that does not support your future life goals and purpose. You may find yourself feeling compelled to prioritize your objectives and activities so you can make the best use of your abilities for the next 29.5 years.
This can be a very stressful and trying time because the security of the past is familiar and safe, whereas the future is still unformed and therefore uncertain. Among many things, Saturn represents karma, responsibility and accountability. This will be a critical time requiring you to act with extreme integrity.
The Saturn Return brings about endings and new beginnings. The universe will unveil unhealthy and incongruent living and working conditions that can no longer be tolerated. This recognition can bring about enormous change, which may at times feel completely out of your control.
If you resist your personal nature and desires during your Saturn Return, the next 29.5 years could bring much suffering. If you willingly embrace Saturn’s courageous force, the transformation you make during this period can bring long term stability and future security.
